Synopsis:

A fiercely devoted assassin and a noblewoman with little time left: a tale of obsessive love. In an age when women were treated as family property, Satoko Kirigaya, a beautiful daughter of a distinguished house, is told she has only a short time to live. She dreams of marrying into another prestigious family and making her father proud. One night, she is kidnapped in a plot, and in a desperate moment tells assassin Shinpei Goto, “Let’s get married. If you’re with me, you can have everything.” Shinpei becomes obsessively convinced Satoko is his destined partner, while she wavers between her duty and her feelings for him. A devoted, forbidden love story.
