Synopsis:
Hey, did you know? The seventh rumor of Kamome Academy’s Seven Mysteries. On the third floor of the old school building, in the girls’ bathroom—there’s Hanako-san. It’s said that if you summon her by offering something in exchange, she’ll grant you a wish. The way to summon her is to knock three times, then say: “Hanako-san, Hanako-san, are you there?” This is the seventh of the Seven Mysteries: “Hanako-san of the Toilet”, also known as Hanako-kun. A girl named Nene Yashiro formed a bond with him. Together with Kou Minamoto, a boy from a family of exorcists, the two work with Hanako-kun to restore the altered rumors of the Seven Mysteries and various supernatural phenomena back to their original state. One day, Hanako-kun says: “There’s a traitor among the Seven Mysteries.” To reveal the traitor, Nene and the others begin destroying the yorishiro (sacred vessels) of the Seven Mysteries. They destroy the second mystery, “Misaki Stairs,” and the fifth, “The 4:00 Library.” Now, five remain—including Hanako-san himself. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Hanako-kun’s younger brother, Tsukasa, along with Sakura Nanamine, Natsuhiko Hyūga, and Mitsuba—who has now become the third of the Seven Mysteries, “Hell of Mirrors”— are also drawing closer to the remaining mysteries that Nene and the others have yet to encounter…
