Synopsis:

Alone in the world, Tenma searches for his benefactor Mugoku and arrives at a Chinese restaurant in a district called Tsukumo Street. There he meets three mafiosi and their boss. To get closer to Mugoku, Tenma takes the test to join their family. After overcoming hardship and becoming one of them, he grows while deepening his bonds with his companions and battling rival organizations. The story begins of a man seeking true strength and dreaming of meeting the person he admires again.
