Synopsis:
Rain, an enhancement enchanter, is suddenly kicked out of his guild. Instead of despairing, he decides he can finally do anything he wants—and reclaims the many enhancement points he had applied to guild members’ equipment before setting out as an adventurer. His new companions are all deeply wounded: a genius adventurer whose party was slaughtered, a warrior who lost their family, and an assassin raised to kill. Rain accepts their pasts and scars with unflinching warmth. In this unusual fantasy world of submachine guns, slingshots, and yakuza, reliance on convenient technology weakens magic. Vicious intelligent monsters and scheming outlaws abound. This is the story of people without a place finding their own way to live. Rain and his companions begin a wild, carefree second life!
